We will be deactivating all game accounts created with such stolen keys starting on Tuesday, May 26th. Fraudulently obtained keys obtained via Steam and then re-sold via third-party websites is a violation of both our and Steam’s Terms of Service. We want to remind gamers to shop wisely and only purchase online keys from a reputable source. ) or you won't get a dime from me.We’ve recently seen an increase in the sale of fraudulently obtained digital game keys for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. There is a major issue with their website, and with their service. They simply claimed because the country was wrong, but the address, State, and zipcode is right, you can't pay. They didn't honor the fact that my payment addresses were all the same on 3 or 4 different payment methods. My current problem, is that they didn't honor my purchases, made legitimately during their sales. Get your act together - and fix the issue I'm having ( They fixed the incorrect country issue AFTER the sale, a week later, and after MULTIPLE re-opening or creating new tickets using all caps to READ WHAT I AM WRITING instead of submitting a canned response which has nothing to do with what I want. ![]() But the responses they gave were just as idiotic, making me think support staff gets paid for each 'closed' ticket, even if it isn't answered correctly. These are unlikely what they responded, other than maybe the first. I can pull the exact ones, but they were as silly as: Download the Epic Games Launcher here. They didn't bother reading my complaint until after I re-opened the ticket numerous times because they kept closing it after submitting a canned response. I am most disappointed with Epic Games Store, and their customer support. I've tried being nice, now I'm posting my experience in the hopes they won't treat others like this. I want others to know, to keep others from wasting their time with them as their website isn't coded properly, and is broken on all 5+ browsers and 2+ computers I tried to access it on. I won't be spending any money with them until they do. I have tried speaking with supervisors, etc. They waited to resolve the problem until after the sale ( over a week ) despite the support staff giving me canned responses, which had nothing to do with my questions, or concerns - which is why I claim they purposefully waited until after the sale was over to see if I'd pay extra, after thee sale.ĭespite my making these purchases during the sale, on a website they incorrectly coded, and from within the Epic Games Application ( which wouldn't work because of the country which was incorrectly stored because their website is broken on all the 5+ browsers I tried ), they would not honor my purchases. were all charged before the transaction was reverted. ie: My PayPal account, my debit-card, etc. All of my attempted purchases were charged before canceling them. I tried to make the purchases, and those were denied. I am not using a VPN, either, so my IP points directly to my country, state, and local area. ![]() when I initially signed up, it saved using a country I have never been to. However, because their website was broken on every single browser I tried to register with, despite selecting the correct country, etc. Because these prices were substantially lower than Steam, I decided to give Epic Games Store a try. These titles were listed for around $6 to $8 each. I tried to purchase Oxygen not included, and Satisfactory a while back. Would recommend paying extra at absolutely any other store, DLGamer may be cheap and most orders will go through fine but, god help you if anything goes wrong or if you leave a negative review. Was also informed that my order had been cancelled without my consent. My review was also reported for 'inappropriate language' by DLGamer even though none was present in an attempt to censor it, taking advantage of the review sites reporting process that would hide the review until someone at the review site had a chance to look at it. I ended up trying the number of a friend who lived in an entirely different state and, it amazingly worked fine, what kind of security is this? I had difficulties and voiced my discontent when invited to review my experience later via email.Īfter leaving a 2-star review, was repeatedly called a liar by dlgamer support, was threatened and had them demanding that I remove my negative review. Most noteably, a phone verification step that will accept any phone number you throw at it except, apparently my personal Tmobile number apparently. Ordered a game from them, purchase process was difficult and full of extra steps to give the illusion of security.
